Sometimes it can feel impossible to get the time or mental space we need to step away from our everyday lives, shift perspectives, and come back recharged with a new outlook. What’s worse is when you don’t even realize you need to take a break or try resetting and can’t pinpoint the cause of your anxieties, frustrations and negative feelings.
That’s what the pods are for. A session in a float pod works like a small vacation from all external stimuli, including the factors contributing to your stress — your normal routine doesn’t exist here.
First you’ll feel your body physically begin to relax as the salt water removes the effects of gravity on your system and the minerals in the water are absorbed through your skin. As blood flow improves throughout your body, your mind will also begin to feel the effects of the isolation. No light and no sound stimulation allows your consciousness to turn inward where your mind will be open to new ideas, allow you to achieve greater awareness, and hopefully pinpoint the behaviours and routines in your life that need to be reset.
