I started off as a skeptic and a year after I am still yet to find one negative aspect about floating. Whether it be after a busy day at work, a nice workout or just when I need a little reset, floating always helps relax my body and mind. As I float more often, I find that I’m improving the length and depth of my almost effortless meditations, and that is coming from a guy who never thought he even could meditate! And the physical benefits just happen, floating seems to take 100% of the stress off of tired joints or muscles and I feel like I sleep better as a solid float puts me in such a relaxed and clean headspace. As I said, all positives, no negatives, you have to try for yourself.
