Experiences from real people who love floating.


For me floating is an immersion into Zen. I have been floating for about eight months and always look forward to the time I get to spend in the tank.

I always compare floating to getting a massage for my brain. Floating is my way of coping with the cumulative stress a hectic lifestyle layers into my energy.

After a float I generally feel incredibly relaxed, grounded and calm; it also seems I typically leave with new perspective on the events transpiring in my day to day life.

As a meditator, the deepest journeys I have taken have unquestionably been in a float tank. It seems as though after 10-15 minutes pass your brain realizes that you are in a very steady & safe place and opens up the pathway to introspective thought and connecting with the true self.

The experiences I have had floating are wide ranging but one things always remains consistent, I am always grateful that I made the time for myself to truly decompress.
